Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) Q2 Earnings and Revenues Top Estimates - Yahoo Finance

Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) came out with quarterly earnings of $0.18 per share, beating the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $0.16 per share. This compares to earnings of $0.08 per share a year ago. These figures are adjusted for non-recurring items.

This quarterly report represents an earnings surprise of 12.50%. A quarter ago, it was expected that this chipmaker would post earnings of $0.18 per share when it actually produced earnings of $0.18, delivering no surprise.

Over the last four quarters, the company has surpassed consensus EPS estimates two times.

Advanced Micro, which belongs to the Zacks Electronics - Semiconductors industry, posted revenues of $1.93 billion for the quarter ended June 2020, surpassing the Zacks Consensus Estimate by 4.29%.
