Tipster @patrickschur_ outed a range of upcoming AMD Ryzen Embedded V2000 parts. These upcoming embedded SoCs, including the Ryzen Embedded V2748, Ryzen Embedded V2718, Ryzen Embedded V2516, and Ryzen Embedded V2546, integrate Zen 2 CPU cores with Vega graphics.

The current generation Ryzen Embedded V1000 series features first-gen Zen cores paired with Vega graphics on the 14nm process. From the leaked specs, it appears like Ryzen Embedded V2000 will migrate to the 7nm process and the Zen 2 CPU architecture, meaning substantially better IPC and performance per watt.

The Ryzen Embedded V2748 and Ryzen Embedded V2718 are set to be eight-core sixteen-thread parts. The V2748 will feature a 35W-54W TDP and a 2.9 GHz CPU clock, with a max turbo of 4.15 GHz. The V2718, meanwhile, can be configured with a TDP between 10W-25W, will feature a 1.7 GHz base clock and a 4.15 GHz turbo. Both will feature RX Vega 7 graphics.

The Ryzen Embedded V2516 and Ryzen Embedded V2546 are are six-core, twelve-thread parts with RX Vega 6 graphics. Because they have two fewer physical cores, AMD’s managed to push the base clock up by 200 MHz, relative to the V27XX lineup. All these parts will support both dual-channel DDR4 memory and quad-channel LPDDR4X memory.

As of now, we don’t have a clear picture about release timeframes or pricing but we will keep you posted.
