The AMD Ryzen 9 3900X is a 12-core processor, using two of AMD's Zen 2-based CPU chiplets. The CPU has a base clockspeed of 3.8GHz, and when turboing it can reach up to 4.6GHz.
You will need a relatively recent motherboard with an AM4 socket to support this chip. As far as cooling is concerned, this model also comes with AMD's capable Wraith Prism stock cooler, which features an 88mm fan and RGB LEDs.
