The Core i7-1180G7 scored an impressive 1,542 in Geekbench 5.3.1 single-core, putting it in line with other Tiger Lake chipsets like the Core i7-1165G7 and Core i7-1185G7. Similarly, its multi-core score of 5,280 is only about 11% down on the Core i7-1185G7, despite its clock speed and TDP disadvantages.
The Core i7-1180G7 also averages about 6.5% higher in both benchmarks than the Core i7-1160G7, another UP4 Tiger Lake processor. The Core i7-1160G7 has a 210 MHz lower boost clock than the Core i7-1180G7, so it seems that the latter makes good use of its extra megahertz. The Core i7-1180G7 will be arriving in compact machines into 2021.
