Lenovo offers the 14-inch Yoga Slim 7 in both Intel and AMD variants. We have previously reviewed the Yoga Slim 7 powered by AMD Ryzen 7 4800U and the Ryzen 7 4700U and also the SKU powered by the Core i7-1065G7. Last year, Lenovo also introduced an Intel Tiger Lake-powered Yoga Slim 7i while also showing off the Yoga Slim 7i Pro.

At CES 2021, Lenovo is once again talking about the Yoga Slim 7i Pro. The 14-inch Yoga Slim 7i Pro was originally announced with an IPS display. Today, Lenovo is introducing an OLED version of the laptop with largely similar internals as before.

Like its LCD cousin, the new Yoga Slim 7i Pro OLED is also Intel Evo-certified. This naturally means that the 7i Pro features 11th gen Tiger Lake processors up to the Core i7, Thunderbolt 4, and other niceties associated with the Evo platform such as instant wake from standby, hands-free login, and long battery life.

The 16:10 OLED panel sports a 2.8K (2,880 x 1,800) resolution with a 90 Hz refresh rate. Lenovo says the new OLED panel can offer a 667x better picture compared to the LCD panel. We are not sure how exactly Lenovo ascertained this, but we should get to know when we get to test the laptop.

The company also says that the Yoga Slim 7i Pro's OLED panel covers 100% DCI-P3 and 125% sRGB color spaces. There is no panel brightness specified, but Lenovo states Dolby Vision HDR support is present as is 70% blue light reduction without drastically affecting the colors.

Other specs include an NVIDIA GeForce MX450 GPU, up to 16 GB RAM, up to 1 TB NVMe SSD options, and Wi-Fi 6 connectivity. 2x USB Type-C Thunderbolt 4 ports, 1x USB Type-A, and a combo audio jack complete the port selection. A 61 WHr battery powers the innards.

Pricing and availability of the Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i Pro OLED will be announced at a later date.
